Pedro Romero (Extremadura-Ecopilas)

Pedro Romero (Extremadura-Ecopilas), winner of the 2012, 2014 and 2015 MTB Marathon (XCM) national series, was second in La Rioja Bike Race presented by Shimano 2014 and third in Andalucía Bike Race presented by Shimano 2015.

The attraction of the race: "I believe that a three day race of pure mountain biking in July and at a paradise like Asturias, has all the attractions to enjoy it.”

The incentive of the race is: "The environment, route and experience of an organisation endorsed by the most prestigious MTB stage races in Spain."

The ambition is: "After my wrist and hip fractures at the beginning of the year I want to feel fully recovered and back to my level and, what better place to test myself than in MMR Asturias Bike Race?”
