Oviedo will be the main venue of the MMR Asturias Bike Race

Three stages in the capital of the Principality to facilitate participant logistics

Oviedo will become the capital of Mountain Bike in Asturias from July 2 to 5. For the first time, the capital of the Principality will be the main venue of the MMR Asturias Bike Race and it will host the starting line of a UCI XCS 2 category competition, which this 2020 reaches its third edition.

On this occasion, the Paddock will be located in Oviedo Sports Palace and the first three stages will start and end in the same city. The organization made this change to facilitate the logistics of the MMR Asturias Bike Race and all its participants. Thus, for example, Asturias airport is closer and it's easier to get there.

Race number pick-up will be in Ovideo on July 2, at 11 am. The same afternoon, the Flash Stage will take place from the capital of the Principality. Stage 2 (July 3, at 10 am) and the Nissan Navara Super Stage (July 4, at 10 am) will also depart from Oviedo. The last stage, like last year, will start and end in Lugones (Siero).

This edition maintains the essence of the previous ones and the natural paradise of Asturias. But it opts for new routes of pure MTB. More action guaranteed. Once again the emblematic Monte Naranco will play a key role in the last stage.

Registration is open

Registration for the 3rd edition of the MMR Asturias Bike Race opened last December and will end on June 28 or when the 1.000 places available are reached.
